The Black Country Living Museum in the West Midlands
is offering museum professionals the opportunity to take part in its Museums
and Resilient Leadership Programme. Supported by Arts Council England.
The course offers practical lessons and theoretical insights about leadership from the cultural and commercial sectors, drawing on a wealth of UK and international experience. Site visits, residential visits and an overseas study visit, the programme will include workshops, over 10 months (6 May 2015 – March 25 2016)
By the first cohort of participants in 2013-14, Described as ‘inspiring’ and ‘life changing’ of the 21st Century, the programme is designed to equip emerging museum leaders to face the challenges. To be resilient and entrepreneurial helping them.
For personal reflection and planning, the course will provide structured space, with individual support from a programme mentor and specially developed tools.
