4 th March 2015, Chelsea Fringe Festival Open Meeting

The RHS Chelsea Flower show but entirely different in ethos we are a platform festival celebrating outdoor performance, gardening, growing and community initiatives as The Chelsea Fringe Festival is an alternative garden festival now in its fourth year and running during the same period. Entirely volunteer run and now spreading fast outside London we welcomed over 200,000 visitors over three weeks in 2014.

Your performance ideas or community garden could take part, this event is an opportunity to find out more about the festival and how you.

5 Lambeth Palace Road, London SE1 7LB, our open meeting will be held on 4th March 2015 at The Garden Museum. Entry is at 6.30 pm and speakers start at 7 pm.

From walks, talk and performances, to workshops, dinners, demonstrations and on-street 'happenings', Projects ranged from community-garden events to avant-garde art installations. Nearly all the events were free.

Unfunded and volunteer-run, the Fringe, a community interest company (CIC), is unsponsored

while the Chelsea Fringe itself was run by a team of approximately 50 volunteers, around 1,000 individuals created the events

including Milan, Melbourne and Henley-on-Thames, Vienna and Ljubljana, with more coming on board for 2015, In 2014 there were 'satellite' Chelsea Fringe Festivals in Bristol, Brighton, Kent
